Since we are staying right next to the Thamalakane river, my brother often spends his time fishing ,it is very difficult not to do so, when all you have between you and the river is a short 1 minute walk.
Many of the young, local boys from the neighbouring areas, enjoy coming down to the river to fish. They don’t have any fishing rods, just a line with a hook on the end, as for bait they dig around the water’s edge for worms to use. Although they don’t often catch big fish they do catch lots of small fish which they carry around on a string, looped through their gills. While the evening sun set, it created a warm glow on one of the boy’s faces which made for a painting today.
