About me

Roger was born in 1986 in Zimbabwe, but was raised in South Africa.He has been living in Botswana for the past 24 years. His love for art was encouraged by his parents who were both artists. He still has a collection of drawings and watercolors that he had done since he was 10. Most of his childhood was spent in the wilderness areas of Africa where his love for its animals and people started.

After moving to Botswana his desire to paint its wildlife and people only grew. When Roger was 15 he sold his first painting for P100.00. He had his first solo Art exhibit at Chobe Chilwero Lodge in 2005. Since then he has had many more exhibits both in Botswana and South Africa. He has also received the prize for the Best Upcoming Artist in Botswana during 2010 and in 2011 from the Thapong Visual Art Center .

His paintings have been bought,and collected by people from all over the world. Roger paints mainly in oils on canvas, and enjoys depicting the African wild and the traditional life style of Botswana.
