Tsholofelo and the blue and white scarf

Title-Tsholofelo and the blue and white scarf
Medium-Oil on Masonite Board
Size 6x6 Inches
Price $100 Includes international shipping
Tsholofelo is a common Setswana name and in English means hope.I am really enjoying painting these small portraits.I use to shy away from painting faces, feeling that it was to difficult ,but all this practice is giving me confidence to paint more.

Really like this portrait Roger...seems a lot bigger than it is!

Thanks Karen, yes the picture is a little bigger than 6x6 Inches.I chose the largest size as I felt there was enough detail to enjoy it as such. However it would be great if blogger could give us more choices with regards to the photo sizes,at the moment we only have 4 sizes to choose from.

Beautifully done, Roger. I also loved the bird and his history. Couldn't comment yesterday as the comment words were not there.
