The sight was a common one in Africa, where women and girls are often seen carrying heavy loads on their heads, whether it be buckets of water, firewood, or other goods. It is a skill that has been passed down from generation to generation, and it is an important part of daily life for many women in Africa.
Despite the heavy loads they carry, the women move with
ease, their bodies adjusting to the weight as they walk. It is a testament to
their strength and resilience, and it is a skill that has been developed over
time through years of practice and repetition. In many parts of
Africa, resources are scarce, and women must travel long distances to gather
food and water for their families.
The sight of the two women walking along the beach in
Mozambique was a reminder to me of the resilience and strength of women in
Africa and around the world. Despite the challenges they face, they carry on,
their strength and grace serving as an inspiration to all.

Happy challenge to you!
Très jolie peinture... Lorsque je me trouvais au Sénégal, j'admirais ces scènes où les femmes portaient ainsi sur la tête ces lourdes charges de fruits et légumes...
Gros bisous ♡
