The red and blue painting



Here is one of my latest semi abstract portrait paintings. I used blue and red, as they are good contrasting colours and I feel they have created a great vibrancy within the art. I wanted the eyes to be the focal point, but the overall painting to look unfinished. This painting is done in oils over an acrylic blue and red base.

You're still not as bad as I am at posting! Like the different style and the blue and yellow boy reminds me of Lionel Smit's work. Nice.
