Having piles of paper work to wade through and reconcile is not conducive to  painting,so I am a bit behind on the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge,but I hope to catch up.Having not painted for two days it was a great feeling to be pushing paint around and not papers.I did not really know what direction this painting would take.I started by roughly sketching out the boat and then I just started painting.The style is far more impressionistic than my normal realist style and yet I like the simplicity of it.
