This is what has distracted me from finishing my cattle painting,.I just had a sudden urge to paint a night scene with stars and some kids around a fire.Often when I get an idea ,I like to get it down on canvas as soon as possible.I had great fun doing the night sky,for the stars I simply splattered white paint with the bristles on one of my brushes. It is still unfinished as you can see,but I hope to finish it soon.
That night sky is breath taking Roger, what a great painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Edward.

great rog! boy seated looks like Mwana??
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sky. Thanks for sharing your technique. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished. Do you work on one painting at a time or do you have several going at one time? I've always got several irons in the fire at any given time. I wonder if I'd be more productive if I didn't start another until I finish what I'm working on.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your comments,Douglas I normally work on one painting at a time ,this is actually a first for me,the main reason is that I got fired up over an idea and wanted to get it painted as soon as possible.
